Bendigo IT Proudly Supports the 2011 RACV Energy Breakthrough
Bendigo IT is pleased to continue its sponsorship of the RACV Energy Breakthrough to be held in Maryborough (Victoria) from the 24th to 27th November 2011. The Breakthrough provides opportunities for students, teachers, parents and local industry to work together to design and construct a vehicle, a machine or innovation in technology that will represent an energy breakthrough. The Central Victorian town of Maryborough throws itself open to 24-hour human powered vehicle and hybrid races, pushcart events and water-based Innovations in Technology.
For Bendigo IT, the sponsorship of this event is a great fit with the skills and resources we have available to provide. Seeing the youth of Australia combining their engineering skills with the physical demands of peddling vehicles for up to 24 hours is inspiring and we are thrilled to contribute to the ongoing success of this event.

TWWMT a Finalist in the Bendigo Inventor Awards Bendigo IT was proud to recently be judged a finalist in the 2011 Bendigo Inventor Awards. Chosen from a field of 170 entries, Bendigo IT was selected for its custom developed software, 'The Way We Make Things (TWWMT)'. Developed primarily for Keech Australia, TWWMT provides foundry operators with the ability better define their products right across the entire production line process. It is simple to use and makes great use of visual images to assist in improving the quality assurance measures for companies that use it. Whilst TWWMT was ultimately not selected as the winner, Bendigo IT was extremely happy with the publicity that we received for our company and the product. We are also greatly indebted to Keech Australia for engaging us in this development and for encouraging further development and possible distribution of TWWMT.
